fonts-junicode software package provides Unicode font for medievalists (Latin, IPA and Runic), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-junicode
fonts-junicode is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-junicode package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-junicode *
You will get with fonts-junicode package name, version, architecture and description in a table
